According to your study programme, you have to do a compulsory internship. Compulsory internships are a graduation requirement at the WSEI University, and you receive ECTS credits for these internships. Internships are conducted in accordance with the internship programme appropriate for each field of study.

 

Students of first-cycle full-time studies are obliged to complete the Internship at the employer in the amount of 600 clock hours.

COMPUTER SCIENCE

You need to complete your internship at the employer during the second semester of studies from 1st June to 15th September, during the fourth semester of studies from 1st June to 15th September, and during the sixth semester of studies from 1st June to 15th September. Each part should be completed 200 clock hours of professional internship.

MANAGEMENT

You need to complete your internship at the employer during the second semester of studies from 1st June to 15th September and during the fourth semester of studies from 1st June to 15th September. During the second semester of studies, should be completed at least 300 clock hours of professional internship.

The student is obliged to submit, at least two weeks before the start of the professional internship (no later than 30th May) the REQUEST FOR WORK PLACEMENT ACCEPTANCE to the Career Office (room 207), on the basis of which will be prepared the Trilateral Agreement for internship and a set of necessary documents. The Request is available on the University’s website.

 

Students who need help finding a place of internship are required to send a CV (file name: name, surname, field of study) containing the clause:

What to do to start the internship?

  • Print the REQUEST FOR WORK PLACEMENT ACCEPTANCE (you can download it from our website.
  • You and your employer from the company need to fill the Request.
  • You bring the Request to Career Office (room 207) to your Internship assistant.
  • Also with the Request You need to bring the copy of the insurance policy. You need to have Insurance against consequences of accidents (in Polish NNW – Ubezpieczenie od Następstw Nieszczęśliwych Wypadków). If you don’t have it You can buy it in almost all insurance companies for example InterRisk https://interrisk.pl/ . Without this insurance you can’t start the internship.
  • Internship assistant prepares the TRILATERAL AGREEMENT ON WORK PLACEMENTS based on a Request.
  • Internship assistant give you the Agreement.
  • After that you can start your internship.
  • During the internship you fill the attendance list on an ongoing basis.

At the end of the internship

  1. You and your company fill all documents i.e.: THE SUPERVISOR’S OPINION, STUDENT WORK PLACEMENT LOGBOOK, INTERNSHIP SUMMARY and TWO QUESTIONNAIRES.
  2. At the end of your internship (no later than two weeks after completion of the internship) you bring all completed documents to Internship Assistant (Career Office 207). (i.e.: one copy of the AGREEMENT with the signatures, THE SUPERVISOR’S OPINION, STUDENT WORK PLACEMENT LOGBOOK, INTERNSHIP SUMMARY, TWO QUESTIONNAIRES and the ATTENDANCE LISTS).
